How do I schedule an appointment?

Book an appointmentDo you offer evening, weekend, or holiday appointments?
We’re open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Evening appointments are available within those hours. We’re closed on weekends and major holidays.
How do I cancel or reschedule?
Call or text 570-818-2853 at least 24 hours in advance to cancel at no charge.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, and no-shows, are charged a $75 fee.
What if I show up late?
You may be asked to reschedule, and the visit may be charged as a late cancellation.
What if my paperwork isn’t done before my appointment?
Your appointment will be cancelled. Intake forms have to be complete before you’re seen, so please start them as soon as you book.
Who we see
Do you see children and teens?
Yes. We see patients 10 years and older.
Do you see patients outside of Pennsylvania?
No. We currently only see patients located in Pennsylvania, including for telehealth visits.
Do you see people for ADHD alone?
Not on its own. If you’re experiencing symptoms of ADHD, you must complete TOVA testing before booking to confirm the diagnosis.

What disorders do you treat?
Mood disorders, anxiety disorders including OCD, PTSD and social phobia, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, behavioral problems, psychotic disorders and schizophrenia, personality disorders, eating disorders, sleep problems, alcohol and substance use, and women’s mental health. We also offer custom benzodiazepine tapering.

Do you accept Medicaid?
No. We don’t accept Medicaid, Geisinger Family, or UPMC. Please don’t book if one of these is your coverage.
How much is a private-pay session?

Telehealth & privacy
Do you offer both in-person and video visits?
Yes. We offer in-person visits at our Luzerne office and telehealth visits by video.
Is video chat hard to use?
No. You’ll get a link by text or email — just click it on any device with a camera and microphone. Most phones and computers already have both.
What software do you use?
We primarily use Doxy.me, with Zoom as a backup.
Is my information private?
Yes. We strictly follow HIPAA guidelines. No information is released to family or employers without your written authorization.
Medications
How do I get a medication refill?
Call 570-818-2846 with your name, phone number, and the prescriptions you need. You can also request refills through the patient portal link provided at your first visit.
Do you prescribe controlled medications?
Yes, when warranted for the specific diagnosis.
Can you send prescriptions to an out-of-state pharmacy?
Sometimes. It depends on the specific medication and the state laws involved — ask us about yours.
